This Postbox Design Bird House from Nature Watch is perfect for small UK birds, and suitable for gardens, balconies or rural spaces. Made of fir wood. Mount at a height of 2-5 meters Place in a quiet area, preferably facing east to avoid prevailing winds Clean after each breeding season to keep it welcoming for new birds Wipe clean with a dry cloth and apply weatherproof treatment annually to prolong the birdhouse's lifespan FEEDING GUIDE: Make food available throughout the year, particularly during the breeding, nesting and fledging periods. Help reduce the risk of bacterial build-up by having several feeding areas and changing them regularly. Consider different foods and feeding methods. Some birds can hang from feeders while others may prefer table or ground feeding. Always provide a continuous supply of fresh food as wild birds will come to depend on the food that you put out for them. Only put out as much food as will be consumed in one or two days. Locate feeding stations near cover so that they’re easily accessible, but not too close if there is a risk of predators. Allow for a greater height if needed. Always provide fresh, clean water. Store food in a cool, dry place. FEEDING HYGIENE: Feeding stations should be regularly cleaned with warm water and, as recommended by the RSPB, a 5% disinfectant solution. Prevent build-up of droppings and food debris in the wider feeding area. SAFETY: Please keep this product out of reach of children and pets. Wear protective gloves when cleaning feeding stations. Wash hands after handling.
