Ruby is the Japanese alpine cherry and is one of the hardiest of cherry trees, very well suited to cold climates., this tree provides beautiful pink single-flowered blooms in April. A wonderful purple leaf dwarf flowering cherry tree. The tree is cloaked with green foliage in the spring and summer. The leaves turn orange/red in autumn which extends the season of interest of this wonderful tree.
