This Anglo Aquatics Iris Sibirica is a Marginal plant that comes with blue flowers and is ideal for placing in shallow edges or on shallow planting shelves. Marginal plants are perfect for the borders of your pond where the water is most shallow, or perhaps on a planting shelf. They are able to tolerate waterlogged soil but should be planted no deeper than four inches below the water level. These hardy aquatic plants can be grown outside of the water also, as long as their soil is kept consistently moist. Benefits: Attractive, free flowering blue with a white and yellow throat. Despite its name, this plant is a native of Europe, not Siberia. As with all iris the tubers are harmful if eaten. Specifications: Sun/Shade: Full sun to part shade Flowering Months: Jun & Jul Native: No Growth Rate: Slow Best Growing Season: Summer Minimum Height: 60cm Maximum Height: 90cm Helpful Tips: After foliage has died back in Autumn cut back to just above the water surface.
