This Anglo Aquatics Myriophyllum Brasiliensis Red Stem is a Oxygenating plant and is ideal for placing at the bottom of your pond or on deep set planting shelves. Oxygenating plants are an essential for a healthy pond. Photosynthesising whilst submerged and releasing oxygen into the water which is vital for all pond life and good bacteria. If planted deeper, the leaves convert to an underwater leaf form which is a darker reddy colour and it is these which oxygenate the water.
